Sanctuary Cove DVD
Client: Mulpha Australia
Description:
Subject Matters pulled together every aspect of this sales reel for Sanctuary Cove. We scripted one version for an international market of mostly Chinese investors, and another for the local home-buying market and featuring Andrew Winter, seen here. We cast actors, found locations, shotlisted and scheduled three days of shoots. On location, we directed every shot using state-of-the-art cameras, managed the schedule, the actors, hair, make-up and catering! Andrew Winter loved his script and our client says the result is better than he ever imagined.
YOTS Volunteer Video
Client: Youth Off The Streets
Description:
A classic Subject Matters production for a pro bono, charity client. Once briefed, Susan researched, scripted and got stuck into pre-production, while Jen scheduled an intense, one-day shoot that included 10 interviews in five locations, snaffling free equipment hire for the purpose. All-rounder that she is, Jen then did camera, lighting, editing and sound, delivering to a brief that specified an upbeat, positive end result. Stay tuned for more work with Youth off the Streets.
Refresh the West Campaign
Client: Yahoo 7
Description:
Our client @www Digital needed some online videos for a campaign called Refresh the West, a movement to bring about positive change in the management of the West Australian newspaper. The result was a series of four emotionally-charged videos which gave a human face to the campaign, thanks to the frank outpourings of newspaper distributors like Ken Dreghorne, featured here. Really strong content on a very modest budget.
ING Direct Webisode
Client: @www Digital
Description:
Commissioned by our client @www Digital, as part of the ING Direct website project, we devised the concept, scripted, cast and wrangled ING Direct customers and staff to appear in a series of two-minute online videos. Four days of shooting ensued, then Jen wrapped it up with some tidy editing. This is one of our favourites in the series, with the charming Ian Robertson, our DIY Super customer.
Billabong Girls TVC
Client: Billabong Australia
Description:
Shot on location in Hawaii, this 30-second TVC was delivered as one part of the Billabong Girls marketing campaign, accompanied by a 15-minute marketing presentation and a DVD for retailers. Working with this vibey bunch of surfer/models was spontaneous and fun, with Jen editing the vision on site and getting client approvals each step of the way.
Fashion Police Television Segment
Client: Channel [V]
Description:
Partner Cleo magazine and sponsor Maybelline approached Channel [V] to record their fashion award event so Jen created this sponsored segment to be broadcast within the awards show. The segment won her a PROMAX nomination for Best Editing and highlights Jen’s ingenuity with client integration, not to mention the comedic talents of one James Mathison…
Air Samoa Campaign
Client: TripleM
Description:
Advertising client Air Samoa sponsored this on-air/online promotion for TripleM. Jen shot and edited this coverage in an hour and it was online before the radio show finished, so on-air talent could direct their listeners to the full visual experience of what they’d just heard.
Avocado Australia Webisode
Client: Harry M Miller Group
Description:
Harry M Miller Group manages one of Australia’s largest banks of talent, including health expert, author and avocado advocate, Zoe Bingley-Pullin. For this client, Jen pulled together a series of 8 recipe videos, and managed to pick up a few cooking tips along the way.
